The New Milford Spectrum and CT Insider feature Gregory James art gallery and custom framing operation in a great story published online Aug. 9 about our new, larger location at 149 Park Lane Lane Road (Route 202) in New Milford.
“The shop, which opened in mid-July, is in a perfect spot to catch the eye of both year-round visitors and the growing horde of city people who are moving to Litchfield County. But the gallery’s steady growth is also a testimony to Mullen’s strong reputation in the New Milford area, earned via an acumen for expert framing and a keen eye for fine art,” the story says, in part.
Gallery owner Greg Mullen purchased and renovated the former Concept Interiors building at 149 Park Lane Rd. and said at the time, “I’m excited about the move and the opportunity to offer more shows, especially because it’s happening in the 25th anniversary year of Gregory James Gallery. Our framing business has been extremely busy, but on the gallery side we have been a bit quiet since the beginning of the pandemic in terms of presenting new shows. The new location provides two expansive galleries where we’ll display more works by gallery regulars and artists new to the gallery.”
The gallery and framing shop are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The phone number is 860-354-3436, the email is GregoryJamesG@aol.com, and the website is gregoryjamesgallery.com.
